| Taking Pictures (or trying to capture spirits in a picture) Taking pictures is fairly easy. The main rules that apply here are always take two or more pictures of the same thing so that you have a control shot, something that you can use to compare any differences in the photograph. Weather conditions are very important when taking pictures, as are dusty or dirty places. If there is snow or rain, or moisture present, or lots of airborne dust, you will end up with pictures full of 'Orbs'. Orbs are not considered to be paranormal activity, although I'm sure this will always be a matter of debate lol. My feelings on orbs are that if the above conditions are present and orbs are captured in pictures then they are just that, orbs. However, I have seen many different types of orbs ranging from see through, to almost liquid type orbs, orbs that are shooting up rather than down, and wonder whether there could be something paranormal if the conditions mentioned are not present. This will be part of my ongoing research to prove or disprove whether orbs have anything to do with the paranormal. One series of pictures that were taken at 'The Oxford Saloon' during our investigation showed an 'orb' that appeared to be moving in a certain path. If this were just dust would it behave in the same way it did in the pictures? When I take outdoor pictures I don't smoke, and also hold my breathe while I take pictures to avoid this. Here are a couple of my favourite pictures where I have held my breathe and not smoked while taking the picture. |
